Just a quick note to keep you up to date on a few things that are happening here at TRAX Motorsports Marketing.

As you know we are always trying to come up with special offers for our Customers. The new TRAX Reserve Order Special Offer Promotion is already seeing a substantial increase in the amount of new Reserve Order Account Customers signing up to TRAX. The offer is also a big hit with our existing Customers who always like to save money wherever possible. Don’t forget that the specially discounted prices only last for 1 month after they have been initially posted on our website. After this period, they will revert to our standard guaranteed Reserve Order prices.
In order to help you all save even more, we are continually adding new items to all our Special Offer Categories. So it’s always worth a regular visit to grab a few bargains.
The new releases over the past few months have been virtually non existent; hopefully things will start to pick up again towards the late summer. With the die-cast industry so quiet at the moment, the opposite can be said of our Premium Collection business. Discerning Collectors are commissioning replicas from our every increasing range, with Tameo being the most popular. It seems that once a Customer commissions and receives one model, and sees the build quality, attention to detail and the smart presentation boxes each Premium Collection model arrives in, they have the confidence in TRAX, to commission more models. This has always been our main aim with the Premium Collection – to ensure that the Customer has the confidence in us to always deliver. If you have any questions with regards to how to commission replicas, please do not hesitate to contact us.
At the time of writing, Minichamps has announced that they are not going to produce the Lotus, Hispania and Virgin F1 2010 racing/launch die-cast models. This is a real shame as many of you have placed Reserve Orders for these models. The only hope is that other manufacturers will pick up the licenses. Maybe Spark will produce their first modern F1 Lotus replicas? If we hear anything, we will of course let you all know.
The Motorsport Industry continues to gain momentum as we reach mid season. The brilliant 2010 Le Mans 24 hour race was spellbinding to watch, with Audi’s clever strategy ensuring the 1-2-3 finish. Also Nigel Mansell’s attempt at La Sarthe – I sincerely hope that he returns to try again next year. The Indy 500 was another great race with a brilliant British 1-2 finish. I just wish there were some models available to celebrate this, although we may have some news on this very soon! On 2 wheels, Lorenzo seems to be taking advantage of the injured Valentino Rossi. Last, but by no means least, F1. continues to hold everyone’s attention, hopefully until the very last race! For me, the 2010 F1. season is turning into one of the greatest seasons of all time.

Re Spark.
Mr D J Coles writes: More praise is due today seeing the latest announcements of classic F1 cars from Spark the Maki brilliant bring them on more of these forgotten makes I have worked in motorsport for over 20 years and it never fails to amaze me how many others involves let alone the public think that Formula 1 is Ferrari McLaren Williams and Red Bull with a few hangers on (lotus included) even drivers in the modern era don't know its history which is a shame so I hope that Spark continue to produce these fantastic "classic" F1 models and less time on more Porsche 911 lets face it if you see one you see them all only the colours change !!!. TRAX replies: Spark do seem to be a company designed from real enthusiasts for real enthusiasts.

Re Spark XJR14.
Mr D Squires writes: I am so excited about the Jaguar XJR14 (S18034) from Spark in 1/18 scale it was such a beautiful sports car have you any idea when it may be released? TRAX replies: No not really, we know that the cast tooling is being produced, so it would look that we may see it just before the end of the year or more likely early 2011 .

Re Mattel Ferrari 5597.
Mr D J Coles writes: Its worth a note that the car in question is a Ferrari 330P4 the P3 raced in 1966 and in 1967 as an updated car 412P for Ferrari customers the works only ran the P4. TRAX replies: Thank you for this information hopefully this will be taken up with the manufacturer.
. Re Missing Spark Models
D. W. Crewe asks: there were quite a few models released by Spark in February and March that have not come into the UK yet, will I still receive these, and if so when ?
TRAX replies: Unfortunately due to a change in the distribution of Spark models, there was around 4/5 weeks, where no deliveries came into the UK. We have been assured that these missing pieces are on there way to us by sea and should be with us some time in April..

Re Premium Collections
Mr G Rodgers writes: How long will it take, before I take delivery, if I was to order models from your Premium Collection?
TRAX replies: We say between 2 to 3 months from commission, however, some of these models are dependant on how long the manufacturers take to send us the kit. We also could be in a situation where the commission is in stock and therefore can be dispatched immediately.

Re Decals for Spark models
Mr D Smith writes: If I order Spark Formula One models from you can you provide the full decals for them?
TRAX replies: We will always try to offer the full decal sheets with Spark Models, even if sometimes it has meant sending them on to our Customers separately .

New Re-Design of New Announcements and Latest Releases
Mr Johnson writes: Just gone on to your brilliant website for my regular visit and I am really pleased to see that you have changed some of the design. It's now a lot easier for me to find the relevant information regarding the models I collect. Well Done TRAX! and thanks for listening to us Collectors.

Re Minichamps Audi's
Mr Dyer writes: Will Minichamps produce any 2009 DTM and Le Mans Audi models.
TRAX replies: We at this moment are not entirely sure, however, it seems highly unlikely. We will be supplying the Spark DTM and Le Mans version's and IXO will be producing the R15 Le Mans Version

2009 WTCC AnnouncementsMr J McLeod writes: Nice to see some 2009 Spark WTCC model announcements, but whats happened to the 2008 ones?
TRAX replies: Spark has informed us that they have no short term plans to produce the 2008 models - but they have not ruled out producing them into the future - we will just have to wait and see.

Being in sales myself, i always like to give praise and credit where due, Thanks for the exception service received over the processing of my first order. I was so surprised to receive my well packaged order this morning after only having placed it at 11pm on Tuesday night. it has been a pleasant experience from start to finish, keep up the good work, I look forward to using Trax again and again I remain Happy of Wistow .
Brawn GP Announcements
D.C. of Wiltshire writes: Well I see Minichamps are milking it again why on earth do we need 11 Brawn GP models we need 1 Button and 1 Barrichello we don't need first test, Launch First win and so on no wonder the industry is in such a state at the moment still the plus side is their will be plenty in the dump bins at the end of the year I think Minichamps are starting to loose touch with reality especially the way prices increase far over inflation on an almost monthly basis (edited)

Thank you for your comments - We believe Minichamps may be a bit advanced in announcing the later season race versions, however the amazing response we have had to the announcement of these models, has not been seen since the 1990's. We feel it is highly likely that the Launch cars and the Australian G/P cars will sell straight out and the 1-2 set has been incredibly popular. We do not feel Minichamps are loosing touch - just adjusting to, what are unusual times: a massive resurgence in Formula One, against the backdrop of a global economic downturn. Prices increases? Well we could have done without them at the moment, but that is an issue for you to address to the industry itself.

1966 World Champion
Mr M Breedon writes: Many thanks for sending the recent 1/43 scale Brabham model, an absolutely stunning model and one I am very pleased with in terms of quality and the fact that it finally makes up my collection of 1/43 scale F1 World Champion cars from 1950 to 2008. Quite surprised how much enjoyment I get each time I look at this collection in its display case and how somehow it seems a mixed feeling to have finally filled the only remaining 'hole' with the Brabham.
TRAX replies: Many thanks for your kind comments regarding the 1966 Brabham - we agree it is a excellent model. Your comments regarding the 'completion' of your World Champion Collection have been echoed by other customers - it is perhaps no coincidence that we have had more new standing orders for the 'Le Mans Winner' and 'La Storia' Collections within the last 2 weeks than in the previous few months !
